Balcombe Tennis Club Christmas Dinner

This is to remind you that you are invited to join the Balcombe Tennis Club at its annual Christmas Dinner, which will this year be held on:
Monday 17^th December 2007, 7pm at The Priory, Syresham Gardens, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 3LB

The Priory require £5.00 deposit per person, which is to be payed to Tandy (address: Bank Cottage, Haywards Heath Road), on or before Monday 12^th November.
The costs are as follows:

2 courses from the menu is £18.50 per person
The full 3 course menu is £22.50 per person.
A selection of after dinner coffees, served with truffles, is available from £1.95 per head.

STARTERS

Cream of Celeriac Soup
sautéed wild mushrooms, truffle oil

Potted salt beef, toasted Ciabatta & gherkins
marinated beef, slow roasted until tender, Dijon mayonnaise

Smoked Salmon
herb blinis, horseradish cream

Goats Cheese Fondue (v)
pink grapefruit, shredded fennel, courgette pickle

MAIN COURSES

Pan-fried Corn-fed Chick Breast
Creamed leeks, fondant potato, red wine sauce

Ribeye Steak
Vine tomatoes, grilled field mushrooms, homemade chips

Salmon Fillet
asparagus spears, green beans, new potatoes

Saffron and Courgette Risotto (v)
parmesan crisps

DESSERTS

Homemade Chocolate Pecan Brownies
Vanilla ice-cream

Vanilla Crème Brulee
homemade shortbread

Apple and Almond Tart
Caramel sabayon

English Cheese Board
Bath Oliver’s, roasted walnuts, celery, grapes
